: When using MS Word 2000 SR-1 I am having a bit of trouble. Every time I try to put a text box in the document I get a message "illegal operation" message. The details state it is a stack fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0187:bff724CL. What do I need to do to correct this? Thank's in advance

Sherry, I just had the same problem. I contacted tech support and was told if you are getting a kernel32 error its downhill from there...(their quote)..they suggested I completely reinstall windows in order to rectify the problem. Oh, ever also get a gdi.exe error message? That they told me is a corrupted font file somewhere in Word or Windows directory. I hope this helps. Diana vcanbc@aol.com
