EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module CO

Whenever I tried to open Windows Explorer and tried to read in A:, C: D: drives it comesup with "EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module COMCTL32.DLL at 0167:bfe94a36." I re-installed Win98, formatted C: and re-installed WIN98 again, it is same problem.

Can anyone help me.

You need to either upgrade Internet Explorer to version 6 or fix the conflict with the dll file. There is a version conflict with this file. Most likely the COMCTL32.DLL file is older than the version required by your version of IE.
