I had a fatal exception 06 at 0028:00000017 whenever I started Cakewalk music maker. Problem disappeared when sound system is disabled. (What is the use of a music maker without Sound !!!).
I used Win98 with on board sound on mother board.
If you had the same problem before , please help.

When I try to connect to the internet I receive the message:
A Fatal exception 06 has occurred at 0028:00000017
I am using windows 98 SE now. Once I upgraded Windows 98 SE to Windows 2000. Then again I reinstalled Windows 98 SE after removing Windows 2000. Before upgradation I never received such type of message.
