I just bought a new mobo (Gigabyte GA-7VAXP) and a new CPU (AMD Athlon 2100+ XP) and after putting all the stuff into my comp, and rehooking everything up, I booted my comp, blank screen, and it stays on for about 1 maybe 2 secs, then shutsoff. Ive tried removing my heatsink and reattaching it (Used a new thermal tape) and still same probs. Also tried removing RAM ad re-entering it. Still the same.

Windows XP
Gigabyte GA-7VAXP
Radeon 9700
300 W Power Sup.
256 DDR 2300

Radeon 9700 pro's coupled with mobo's that hold very fast processors are gonna need more power bro. Slap a 425 in that sucka and your rebooting woes will be over.
