HELP..Excel has caused an invalid page fault in mo Post a Reply
From: Bill on 10/10/2002
Has been working fine until 2 days ago. Error occurs
immediately upon trying to start Excel. Have uninstalled and reinstalled both Office and Windows 98SE, selected "run from CD", and used /unregserver then /regserver after installing in different directory to try and correct registry. Also replaced RAM. Same outcome, will not start

any ideas?

Did it work in safe mode? To do this, try using the /s in the command line (RUN on the start menu) and see if you can get in (for example: c:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Excel.exe /s).

Check out Microsoft's KBA Q327761. This should help you fix the regsistry to get everything working again.
