My computer at the office is a GenuineIntel Pentium(r) III Processor with 64.0MB RAM. It is part of an office intranet running Novell Client for Windows 95 / 98. I use Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition 4.10.2222 A. I use Microsoft Office 97 and there does not appear to be a pattern of whether or not I am working on a document that is new or whether the document is one that I previously saved to my hard-drive or to the network drives. Often [at least once or twice a day] I will be working in WORD or EXCEL and I suddenly get a royal blue screen indicating a fatal exception. The screen tells me that I have an "OE Page Fault @ 0028:C8638E3A". I am not trying to print when this occurs.
Every once in a while I will get a royal bule screen indicating a fatal exception and the screen tells me that I have an "OE Page Fault @ 0028:C028636A in VXDVWIN32(05) + 0002062".
I have tried re-installing Windows 98 and Office 97 and have experienced no difference in the number of fatal exceptions that I get. What can I do to avoid these fatal exceptions? If additional information is needed, please let me know. Thank you in advance.
