I get this message on my computer: VMM(12)+00005A97 Error:OE:0028:C0284A97 My OS is Windows ME.Please Help

This is to TechB re vmm(12). Your reply to the error message to phill on 2/6 was right on point. I was having the same problem and I followed your advice and it fixed the problem instantly. Thanks for your help and good advice and keep up the good work. Linda

VMM(12) usually indicates a registry problem you need to boot to safe mode once you turn on the system press F8 and go to safe mode. once there press start then select run... type scanreg.exe

This will scan your registry and see if there is a problem.
