I receive this fatal error message:Fatal Exception Error: OE 0028:C15BE0113 VXD MCSCAN32 (01) = 000278A3 almost at every task I'm trying to do.
I tried to uninstall McAfee Virus Program, can't do it computer is freezing, run Norton WinDoctor, computer gives me after about 2/3 thru the searching the Fatal Exception Error: Fatal Exception Error: OE 0028:C15BE0113 VXD MCSCAN32 (01) = 000278A3.
I lost my Office Short Cut Bar, went into the folder 1033 tried to restore it, computer freezes up, try to repair Office 2000, computer freezes or gives me the fatal exception error.
Both computers are on a LAN Network and run Win98SE, one is Dell Optiplex Intel, Celeron 500 Mhz, 128 MB RAM, the other is an Epiq, with 900 mhz and 256 RAM.
Any ideas what else I can do. I installed Windows Installer Clean Up, still same problem.
