It could be that your maintenance wizard is set to run scandisc on system start up. Try checking to see if the scheduler is set for a start up scan (Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>Scheduled Tasks) If it is set to run on startup then just alter it to once a week or month (whatever suits you).It's only one possiblilty! : Everytime I shut my computer down, when I start it back up it automaticly goes into Microsoft Scandisc, even when it is shut down properly. What do I do?
