While attempting to do a "Repair Install" on Windows xp64 using the setup cd-rom I'm getting an Error message:
"Internal setup Data Structures are corrupt during startup"
at this point the install process stops and I an unable go any further.
It is happening after the initial install of files and the system reboots and the final install of files start.
I'm not too sure wether the problems lie with the CD-Rom ( Its fairly new and doesn't seem to have any major blemishes ( apart from faint scratching) or the problem is with the original install or HDD ( Hve had this scanned for any physical blemishes but it has been found free of them)
Can any one tell me how to overcome this problem
