Computer won't detect internal hard drive Post a Reply
From: Ilana on 08/30/2010
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 with Windows Vista. Yesterday I got a BSoD (with no writing - just jumbled white images)and since then when I try to boot, I get the following:

PXE-E61 and PXE-M04 failures. I thought the issue was with Broadcom PXE. But then I realized that my computer was not picking up my hard drive at all. When I go to DOS mode and type in C:, it says it doesn't exist, and various other tests also indicate that there is no hard drive (even though there is). Help!
