DDHELP caused a GPF in module GDI.EXE at 0001 Post a Reply
From: Cheese on 07/11/2007
I am problem solving for a friend who repeatedly seeks the following two messages:

Message 1- DDHELP CAUSED A GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT IN MODULE GDI.EXE AT 0001.

MESSAGE 2- IEXPLORE EXCUTED AN INVALID INSTRUCTION IN MODULE FLASH 9 ocx AT 0167.046d1478.

She is using IE6.0 with Win98. She has been having problems loading a specific website and has not been allowed to log-in using her username and password. She said it is not consistent (like most problems) and sometimes she is able to log in and sometimes she is not. She has questioned the tech of the website who said it is not a compatibility issue.

Any suggestions?
