In order to get rid of this minor irritant, save your money! instead of buying new software to get rid of it........you do this.Go to "my computer", search, type in dw.exe (click in subfolders and hidden files), it will find 5 files, 1 having a strange extension (mine was fp.) Delete this file, close out the window and it wont come up again. Happy surfing

I'm also having this problem Geoff, I've been onto a few sites and they are saying it's adware or spyware and to delete it right away, but I'm not sure. If you get any closer to sorting it out post the answer. Cheers

I have found out how to stop this happening. All you have to do is to sign out of MSN and this seems to stop the problem! However I had been useing MSN with no change and it just started happening out of the blue. I still do not know what caused the problem. Hope this helps any one.

My experience exactly like yours Geoff. Could be related to a recemt MSN upgrade which I uninstalled.

I am getting the same problem. I do not know the answer and have searched the microsoft data base and there is nothing on there about this. I believe it has something to do with msn messanger.
