IE6 Access Violation when playing MSN streaming vi Post a Reply
From: Joe on 05/16/2004
I consistently get an IE6 Access Violation when trying to play MSNBC streaming videos. The advertisement video plays OK, but when the real video starts I get an immediate AV in IE6, module urlmon.dll. Other streaming videos (say on www.windowsmedia.com) play OK.

I've tried deleting all temporary internet files, cookies and history.

Running XP SP1 Home Edition, IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422, WMP 9.00.00.3128
