Do you know that even in Word 2007, this error still occurs? It's ridiculous that they could not compensate for the status of printers by now. The fix still works too, change to a different printer.

Hello,

The above error happens to me whenever I right click into a form field and click on properties.

I am using Word 97 on an Win 98 NT (P.O.S.). It happens for every field in this document...Just checking to see if it does it in every document...nope...just this one.

Any advice at all?

i had this problem and your suggestion worked right a way. I had a default printer that was not available to my computer. Thanks!

It's related to your printer driver.

Change the default printer and it should work.
