I get BS Errors all the time, usually when im loading proggies, or launching things. It isnt consistant, sometimes no issues for a day, sometimes 4-5 times in a day, its weird, and annoying. Any thoughts? Ideas? More info I can give to help? BTW Im running an ABIT Nforce Mobo, and I had to get Bios updates, cause it was the older board issue, (It didnt say that on Newegg.com ;), I had to learn that the hard way, next time spend the extra $8 for the newer model)

Blue Screen errors are caused by drivers about 70% of the time. Sounds like you have a nice system. You may want to check to see if your components are compatible with windows XP. Usually they will tell you to go into MS config, and then selectively start certain items. This can work well, however, if the problem is intermittent, it my not be drivers.

Does your RAM have heatsinks on it? Second question, did you build your system, or did someone build it for you? If your answer is yes and yes, I would strongly recommend that you upgrade all of your drivers. You can usually download then from the manufacturer's website.

How big are the programs you are using? It sounds like you might not have enough ram to run all the programs you are using at the time. When I got my new computer, I immediately installed more ram. The factory installs the least amount it can.
