Hican somebody help me please, I`ve got a problem when i Run Lord of the rings ROTK, when it is going to show the video it stops and shows this message: An error has occurred and ROTK cannot continue Code C0000005 at 004801F9 what does this mean ?? thanks

After trying different cracks together with daemon tools and running as administrator in compatibility mode I nailed it! Below the compatibility mode option I could choose to run with 640x480 pixels and it finally worked. Some nostalgia incoming...

XD saludos a todos

I found the solution!!!
Download from here ("http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_lord_of_the_rings_rotk.shtml") and download the (LotR: The Return Of The King v1.0 [ENGLISH] Proper Fixed EXE)

I also have problems with this game. When i try to play a co-op game i get this error Code C0000005 at 0043E6A3, and the game crashes.
Also when i try to play single player no matter which character i choose i always play as Sam!

You just need to reinstall the program, first uninstall it by going to add/remove programs in your control panel and removing it. This will not erase your saved games! Next reinstall it by using the two install disks, when you play it again the error will go away.

hej everybody... i need some help i dont have the problem with sam but... i have no sound when there are movies, and music... only ingame sound when i fight, but everytime there comes a movie or fast litlle klip i have no sound... very enoying pleaze reply fast

Why don't all of your read the forums before posting. I just read through it, didn't need to post anything except this, and I found a solution. Come on, how many times do people have to say "I always play SAM!!" or "I get an error..blah blah blah". Or even better yet, "translate 'homo ass geek fuck'". Geeze, it's like your all a bunch of loser 10 yr olds who don't make enough allowance from your parents to go out and buy the game. It's a great game, buy it, support the cause.

Filename C0000005 and 004801F9 comming up when i passed the first level! can you translate the failure to norwegian .. because i`m not english .! i Don`t understand "Homo ass geek machine" as you wrote on the top of this page =) ! if you wants to translate it to norwegian please do that! you can mail me at e_olavesen@hotmail.com .. than you can translate if you fix that! can you please help me! ANSWER: just disconnect your internet from your computer and their homo ass geek machine cannot block you from playing the game... for the error Code c0000005 at 004801f9Beoooom Geeks, welcome to W-land
