on both mine and my wife's winme amd athlon machines, when attemping to network our machines with our lan cards, when we apply the settings in the home networking wizard and reboot, windows immediately halts with the error message 'windows protection error, system halted'. This is on 2 different machines and 2 different network cards. have tried networking after clean formats and installs and still the problem persists and we would be very grateful if anyone can help
