StartUp error messages Post a Reply
From: Makere on 07/22/2003
I am running Windows ME and recently have been having trouble with starting up - notably I think since trying to vlean up my hard drive, registry etc.
After doing a Nortons defrag last night, I have now gone from the
the BFF7B018 startup error message to error message BFF775B4, on a blue background.
I have tried checking my video card for upgrades but it just hangs, as it does when I try to download updates or anything else.
Shot of putting an axe through it, does anyone have some suggestions plesae??

Solution; uninstall Norton then reinstall it and run liveupdate several times. (You can try liveupdating without uninstalling but you will most likely recieve errors during the update process)
