From: ger on 07/10/2003
PC running Windows 98 sp-2, Outlook 2000 and on an NT 4.0 network. Problem is when I try to print a message from Outlook it hangs. Printer is a HP Laserjet 5N. Other users with same set up print fine. Trien to print form the print icon and the file menu. Please help, this is driving me nuts.
Repaired and also reinstalled office. SFC on windows. Aggghhhh!!!!

with Outlook closed, delete the following file
C:\Documents and Settings\jnash\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlprnt

outlprnt

then restart Outlook and see if issue is resolved.

I have the same problem - Outlook 2000 is installed on Win 98se, IE6 sp1. The server is Win 2000 and the network printer is HP 2300. When I try to print a message sometimes Outlook crashes and sometimes not. There is the same problem on two other PCs, but the rest of my colleagues print fine to the same printer.
I've been searching for a solution in all kinds of forums and knowledge bases and so on, but so far nothing. Please send me an email if you find a solution to this problem -> kisssy123@abv.bg
