Attempted to connect a Microtek 3630 Scanner and system crashed. I uninstalled files as directed and decided not to try again. Now my Cannon camera which I have used for two years causes the above error when attempting to download photos from camera to computer. I have uninstalled all photo software, reloaded Windows 98, Carefully edited the Registry from directions on another post. Everything works fine until attempting to transfer the pictures, HELP!
