THANK YOU

THANK YOU
!!!!!!!!!
I haven't been able to play POGO for 4 months. I contacted their "pogo.help" several times with out getting any real answers.
I did what you said, deleting the doubleclick.net entries and am now playing again!!! I just did a search for "hosts" on my c:\ drive, and then right clicked on open with notepad. There were only three lines in this file, and all said doubleclick. I deleted all three, and have resolved the problem
THANK YOU!!! so much.

Thank you, Thank You.

That worked for me. I was having the same problem that opened this forum, so I thought I would try it to see what happened, and it worked

I installed Tweak XP and that is when pogo stopped working, so I uninstalled the problem, but ever since then I was getting "Page Can't be Displayed" and the same would never load for me.

THanks again
It is working again

The problem is you have installed an ad blocker. Heres what I did. You must disable the ad blocker before going to pogo. If that doesn't work follow the directions below... NOTE I got these from http://www.rpi.edu/~pudeyo/flame/noads.html I am just reversing them because his direction get rid of ads.

Enter the HOSTS file. Its purpose is to permit Windows to resolve DNS names like www.rpi.edu to IP addresses like 128.113.2.9 locally, without going to a DNS server located somewhere on the Internet. Usually it's located at %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts for Windows NT based operating systems, where %WINDIR% is commonly c:\winnt for Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000 and c:\windows for Windows XP, and at %WINDIR%\hosts for Windows 9x, where %WINDIR% is usually c:\windows. A sizable portion of Windows 9x machines seem to miss the hosts file in default installation, so if you don't have it, don't be worried. Windows NT-based computers almost always have the hosts file.
Open this with notepad.

1:Goto edit > Find doubleclick.net
2:It should highlight that part. Erase that entire line. It should look something like 127.0.0.1 ad.doubleclick.net
3:Click on find again and do this for all the doubleclick.net
4:Once all doubleclick.net lines are removed save the file and goto pogo.
This worked for me. Just remember to delete all the doubleclick.net lines... Any questions post a reply or email me at justins1986@hotmail.com

I'm having the same problem. Tech charged me $50 to tell me that he can't figure it out, and that the "issue will resolve itself..."
Please help...
I also can't view all pics/ads on MSN.com, ESPN.com, hotmail.com, and others. I'm running windows XP and have tried disabling firewall, enabling more cookies, and have checked my registry 2X and have ran Disk and Win Doctor 2X.
