norton antivirus error was unknown Post a Reply
From: Fred on 05/12/2003
When I tried to use my norton anti virus 2000 for windows Me, it didn't work.
The message came and said Nmain has caused an error in NMAIN.EXE. Nmain will now close. If you continue to experience the problem, try restarting your computer.
Another small window came and said an unhandled exception has occurred...The error was: unknown (0xC0000005).
I have tried to restart my computer and it didn't workI don't know what happened because it was fine. I haven't scanned my computer for a month and when I tried it, it was an error. Please help me solve this problem. I'd appreciate it, thank you so much.

I don't know whether this is a solution to your problem, but it matches the error code!
