I upgraded to AOL 9.0 & I still have the same problem. Is there a solution to this other than dropping AOL?
Thanks!

Just tried to log on aol Broad band - I get the same error message with aol on win 2k. Is it worth re-installing aol 7. would that do the trick?

I'm looking at similar problem now:
OS: XP Home, SP1, hotfixes etc.
no problem browsing w IE but when one tries to connect via AOL it gets application pop up error, not enough memory when it calls waol.exe.

there are plenty of resources: 40 GB drive w 30 GB of free space P 4 w 256 memory, nothing else is running. same error occurs when using set up utility for AOL.

Yet another reason not to use it.
