I have installed a ps2 connector for a new intelli mouse from microsoft and as I turned on the computer it tried to build the driver database and freezes at 90% and blue screens with fatal exception error oe at 016F:BFF9DB34

If you have pysical errors on your hard drive you need to see if they are bad sectors or not. Use scandisk in dos mode or in windows mode to do a surface test, if you do have bad sectors get a new hard drive.

I ran scan disk and found physical errors on the hard drive. So while building the driver and writng to the hard drive it could not complete the update. Scan disk self fixed the errors and my computer nowsd works.
