After I have installed Excel Add-In file, I had this message: "excel.exe has generated errors and will by closed by windows". When I'm trying to connect&attch a database using Excel Add-In files, this message occurs and excel is closed.
Can you help me because is very important for me.

Hi,I had the same problem when opening Excel.
Looking at various threads on this topic, I finaly decided to jump to: www.cpearson.com\excel\StartupErrors.htm where I found the solution to my problem : *.xlb files

due to it being a microsoft error, goto windows update and look for the patch for the addin, if there not one search in google with the words "excel.exe has generated errors and will be closed" see what you can dig upslink9
