I keep getting this error often when starting up my computer so I have to go through the disc scan on the safe mode then restart again. My computer is a Windows ME. I am wanting to know if there is anyway of getting rid of this error and what it might be caused from. I would be thankful for any help I get.

Can someone tell me what the error is supposed to mean? I've got OE:0187:BFF775B4
But I only get it now and then, not on a regular basis
also running winME

The same problem when starting ME, slightly different fault number - 0E:0197:BFF7B018. Nothing seems to help.

Go to START ..... HIT RUN....... enter scanregw and allow to backup. SHould work

I'm having same problem 0177:BFF7B018 I have rebooted, scanned, updated, restored aand the system keeps locking up. Same error everytime. I have rebooted 22 times just today. Windows ME.

I also get a similar message
My error is OE:0187:BFF775B4. I run Windows ME and am in the same situation.
Have you had any luck yet with the solution?
