I think you'll find that the bcupdate file does not exist on the M$ website, and you'll also find that when contacting M$ about this file, not only will you get charged but you will have to wait 3-4 business days before you actually receive it, if you receive anything at all. If your error happens to be on your domain controller you can see how this could be a huge problem... I have just been through the same issue as bonnie (on my PDC) and I am not impressed. If they think we can get away without a PDC for like a week then they are off their moneygrabbing little heads!! So, screw M$, here is a link to the file, I downloaded it and ran it according to M$ instructions and it seems to work fine, I can now boot the server from the hard disk. The NTLDR file they talk about, being part of some "update package", I extracted from the SP6 install file, I did this by running the sp6 file on another machine, took note of the temporary folder that it all extracts to before starting the install, copied the file out of there onto my boot floppy renamed to ntldr.new, booted windows from the floppy, copied the ntldr file to the root drive, renamed it back to ntldr, ran bcupdate from a cmd prompt, all good!! http://www.autourdupc.com/index.php?sPage=/Logiciel/NT4/DrvToolsNT.htm
