I get the PromulGate universal and unhandled exceptions when I turn my pc on. Can you please advise me as what more I can do to rid my pc of this annoying message?

ok i tried to uninstall this delfin on my computer but it says something like the following file does not exsistor is not a valid uninstallation log file then it says to go to my c drive, program files blah blah, but it doesnt let me remove any from my computer!

Thank you, thank you, thank you......my friend installed Kazaa on my computer in spite of me asking not to d/l or install anything and I could not get rid of the Promulgate and unhandled exception til now.

Thank you for explaining how to get rid of delfin, but now I can't delete Kazaa. If have Kazaa lite and thought Kazaa was gone. It is in program files not in add/remove program. I cannot find the pgmonitor key either. When I click on Kazaa to remove it says access denied. Help

PROMULGATE DefeatedI have been getting the same two errors for the last month. I got tired and decided to action it.
I came to this site and found references regarding the registry and how to delete any references to "KAZAA" and "DELFIN".
After editing the registry 3 times and deleting these references I was still getting the dreaded two warnings on boot-up.
Finally I checked in the Program Files directory on C: and found a file called DELFIN. I temporarily renamed this file and tried rebooting. The dreaded error message and the "PROMULGATE" message disappeared.
Hopefully this was the end of this nonsense. I returned to the Program Files directory and deleted the renamed "DELFIN" file. Hope this helps everybody else with this same problem

Ok, hopefully this post will solve everyones problems. The Promulgate and unhandled exceptions talked about earlier are due to Delfin Media Viewer, which is a form of ad-ware. It did not come downloaded with your computer when you bought it, but probably installed itself when you go KAZAA. Step 1- go to your control panel, then click add/remove programs, then highlight delfin media viewer and click uninstall. Then put a search in your computer for deflin media viewer and delete all files that would come up. Another thing I suggest is to delete KAZAA and download KAZAA LITE. Its bascally the same thing but dosent come with ad-ware. Now lastly I would remove the registry/registry key that deals with Delfin. To do that, go to run, then type in regedit. Find the pgmonitor file and remove it. TADA, your computer is fixed. :-D

3. Stop using AOL and get a real ISP.
4. Stop using IE and go download free Mozilla.
5. Stop using Outlook for your mail and get a real mail program.
6. Don't run .exe attachments from e-mail.
7. Don't click on attachments that say "hi I'm a virus.exe"
8. Use your brain and some common sense.
9. Start reading below, now.

PG Monitor error ( PromulGate ) everytime I try to dial out:
1. Is this error due to a virus? ( why is it happening only n the last 2days? )
2. Is it network/remote connection related?
3. What are the procedures I need to use to get rid of this annoying problem? ( I use XPHome, by the way )Thanks in advance, Vijaykumar

Hi, I need some help! I'm working on this computer, and I can't figure this one out. To tell you the truth, I need help from someone who has more experience than me. And I do not have a lot of exp. I keep getting this PromulGate Universal is encountering problems, and needs to close. Then this Unhandled Exception error shows up; C0000005 at address 100016b8. Thanks so much for ur help. I too was experiencing the same problem of the Proulgate universal error message every time i started or restarted my comp. After ignoring it for awhile and it not going away i figured i should prolly do something about it. I stumbled upon ur page while waiting on hold for tech support and after reading others posts and replys of having luck i decided to hang up and give it a try. It worked like a charm ...thanks again!

If your computer is shutting down after one minute you have a virus called msblast.exeOpen your task manager immediately after booting and end the process if you can. If you cannot, and you are fast, you can do the following to fix the problem: Start: run: cmd [enter] This opens a command prompt where you can type commands. Kinda nerdy, but this works on XP at least... shutdown -a [enter] That aborts the current shutdown. Now go and find msblast.exe copies anywhere (at least in c:\windows\system32 (XP, 98, ME) or c:\winnt\system32 (NT4, 2000)). If you're really neat remove the msblast.exe entr(y/ies) from the registry. If you don't know what that is, never mind...you'll just kill your system.

i have deleted the delfin files from my computer only to find that wheni started it up i had a new error, something about NT On-Access Service Scanner not working , and after a while the same messgae would pop up giving me 1 minute to save all work, im really mad and just need my computer to work , any ideas, happen to any one else?

I think that fixed it, i kept getting that RPC thing and getting kicked off in one minute, removed Delfin and all is OK to this point. thanks so much, i really appreciate it.

Quick and easy way to fix this matter.step : 1. search the file "Delfin" --> then you can find c:>program>Delfin 2. Just delete "DelFin" folder from your computer 3. Restart your computer for test Now you can find your computer is working perfectly witout that annoying pop-up message.

I tried to uninstal delfin and and it says: The follwin file des not exit or is not a valid unistallation log file. C:\program files\Delfin\prmulgate\unistal.logThen i went search all files and it wont find any delfing file. I also tried to look for delfin media vier to reinstall and then uninstall but i couldn't find any download. If some could help. Please :-) email aspsolorio@yahoo.com

hey... this Promul Gate Universal exception bos is popping up saying there's an error each time i start my computer. The box reading unhandled exception has also been poping up when i start my computer. The unhandled exception reads 00005 at address 100016b8 How can i stop that from happening?? What is it? Do i realliy need it for my computer?? Can it harm my computer in any way? And how do i remove delfin from my system and the unhanled exception 00005 at address 100016b8 and the promulgate universal corrupt error?? This Promul Gate Universal exception box has been on my computer: what exactly is it and what does it mean? Can it harm my computer in any way?
