Technical question on error numbers Post a Reply
From: Randy on 01/09/2003
Can someone tell me in technical detail how this error code OE at 0164:EFF453D can lead anyone to know what is wrong with my system?
I read about the codes and understand the 0E part but the other part is just a area in memory where the program crashed or tried to access memory.
Wouldn't programs move around depending on what I am running at the time? Why would one error code always come up, and is it always exactly the same or would it change a little every time?
Is the code where it stopped or a memory location that is protected memory?
If you know of a good link for info, please post it, thank you.

Check your error code you posted. It is not correct.

In the meantime, you can try getting the most current version of your video card driver to fix the problem.
