Microsoft Home Publishing 2000 Causes error in ker Post a Reply
From: Lizz on 01/03/2003
When I run Microsoft Home Publishing 2000, click "insert text", and then Zoom in to 150% magnification, the program freezes and an error message comes up that says "Hpub has caused an error in Kernel32.dll. Hpub will now close." only, it doesn't close, and I can't use "ctrl- alt- del" to shut it off because it isn't listed. I can't get rid of it and must restart my computer. A similar occurance occurs in Microsoft Picture it! Express. When I try to save a picture after I alter it, the program freezes. It doesn't give a ny explination, just freezes. I had gotten a new harddrive, and re=installed all of my programs, but it's just the microsoft programs that dont seem to work. Any suggestions as to what could be missing? Or where I could get a new "kernel32" file and how can I replace it on my system if I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
