I get the above crash when trying to open Word 2000. I recently switched from IE to Netscape navigator and also downloaded a Norton 2000 Antivirus demo which i have since deinstalled using my Norton Systemworks program. Any help?

Yeah, we installed a clean copy of NAV2000 with no problems. When we selected to not have the monitor icon appearing on the desktop/icon tray, that's when the problems began. The helpdesk and customer support base at Symantec do not even address the problem. It's like they're trying to ignore a bug in NAV2000. I suggest wiping clean ALL traces of NAV2000 and reinstalling the older v5.0. I've had far less troubles with the older one.: I WAS HAVING THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS UNINSTALL NORTON ANTIVIRUS. IT FIXES IT. :
