Win 98 fails to shut down Post a Reply
From: John on 02/20/2000
I have just upgraded from 95 to 98 and am unable to shut down properly. To begin with I received a CM8330SB.drv error which I fixed with updated drivers, but now the shutting down screen just locks up. I have tried disabling the fast shutdown but this does not work. After fiddling with some settings (I cant remember which) Win 98 seemed to shut down correctly, but instead of displaying a safe to turn off message simply rebooted. This is on an AMD 233 MMX with 32 meg ram.
Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
