 VxD errors.... Post a Reply
From: Dave on 03/18/2000
Seems I like many others am experienceing the VxD blues. I'm currentyl searching for the root of the failure of windows to load the virtual device drivers even when the computer is dormant/sleeping/just plain on with IE:no activity. I think it may have to due with SCSI controllers but I don't know what they do or where they are cause I sure as heck didn't need em before and I didn't buy them separate. I assume they are part of new motherboards (as I recently upgraded) and seems to also happen when using either celleron or AMD chips. (though that seems to be coincidence.) Any additional info on where they come from under win 98 is appreciated to add to the knowledge base.

Sincerely,
Dave
