Explorer Error in KERNEL32.dll & BSOD Post a Reply
From: Garry on 01/17/2001
Clean installation of ME on new hard drive, Mainboard is a Gigabyte GA-7ZXR with via KT133 chipset, Sound blaster live Platinum, Asus GE force 256 V6800 DDR Deluxe Graphics. Drivers installed: Via 4 in 1 chipset drivers, SB Live drivers, ASUS Geforce drivers excluding the VGART drivers as the cd does not cater for the via KT133 chipset.
Problem on virtually every bootup am getting the BSOD, which reads: Error OE: 016F: BFF73F51, & OE: 016F: BFF62808, also within minutes of the system booting up am getting an explorer error in KERNEL32.dll.
Is there anyone out there with similar setup and similar probs. The processor is a 1 Gig Athlon, 320 MB PC133 SDRAM, and I have got a 300 Watt PSU in my case. There is sufficient heatsink paste so the processor is not overheating. ?? Hardware Software problem Many thanks to you.
