: I have new PIII 500Mhz 128 Ram (less than a year old), great graphics card. Every time I install some game and start playing, the computer starts freezing up or crashes after several hours of game play. Then that particular game freezes each time you start playing it just after a few minutes. I have installed up to date drivers.

: I know it has something to do with Windows files becoming corrupted or damage, but is there any way to prevent this. Must I reinstall windows or do a complete rebuild so often. Makes me not want to play games any more. And if you can't play games, why have a computer - lol.
: you might want to check these messages on this site - they refer a lot to the same problems you and I have been having, but unfortunately there have been no results yet: ps. do you have an ASUS motherboard, they seem to be the main culprit at the mo.
