: I have this problem also. I'm running Windows ME & had a virus. When I took it to get it cleaned, the 'professional' installed Mcafee & now I get an error in cslsp.dll, kernel32.dll & spool32.exe. Scan disk won't scan & defrag won't defrag. & Yesterday I started getting a warning that I should back up my files & replace my hard drive. Now What?????

:
: : I have the same problem but started when I installed Mcafee 6.0... I donīt know what to do.

: I also had the W32.Benjamin.B@mm virus (worm), used the removal tool, then added McAfee Virus Scan Pro 6.0.

: I have been getting the message "Iexplore has caused an error in CSLP.DLL and Iexplore will now close" ever since on random pages, usually just after I click on a link. This is in Iexplorer 5.50.4034.

: I think it is being caused by missing system files might be easly fixed by geting the CSLSP.Dll file or reinstalling windows

I'm back, after talking with McAfee technical support. I had to unstall McAfee (both virus scan and firewall), install a new WSOCK32.DLL they provided, then reinstall McAfee. It worked (finally!) I strongly recommend anyone who reads this to go to the McAfee site, use the online-chat techical support. The staff is extremely helpful, and they seem to have a good handle on their bugs.

: I've run the repair tool to no avail. I'm running windows ME so it doesn't let me try the WINSOCK2 upgrade that is mentioned as another possible solution.

: anyone having any luck ???

:
: : McAfee told me today to delete the file (CSLSP.DLL), then repair the program using the "repair" function within Windows "Add/Remove Program". I will post the results after a successful removal & repair.

: : If you right click on the file, then select properties, you will find out that the DLL was installed/created by McAfee.

This is what McAfee told me to do, and it seemed to work!

Please click on start--settings--control panel. Then double-click on add/remove programs and select Firewall and click add/remove

Now please dowload the mfw302au.exe from http://www.mcafee-at-home.com/naicommon/download/patches.asp#firewall

Please reinstall Firewall and then apply the patch. If you are unable to find where to install Firewall from please search for mcfire.msi in My Computer. Double-click on this file.

All you have to do to resolve that issue is reinstall your winsock2 file available from Microsoft.com

That will resolve your issue. I know.
