Original Problem Posted by: Lori on 11/15/2002
I get this message relatively frequently if I run my graphics acceleration at either "full" or the notch below full in Windows 98. I have had to set the graphics acceleration down to the second notch from the left (the next lowest setting) in order to prevent frequent errors from occuring when I run big programs like WordPerfect 2000 or Timeslips. This is a recently-developed problem. Can anyone tell me what sort of underlying issue may have caused this?

The computer has a 500 MHz Pentium III chip, an Asus motherboard (which was replaced early this year), and 128 MB of RAM.

Thanks for any help.
