After installing Outlook from the Microsoft Office 2000 package, a computer locks while the install program says it is updating system files. After rebooting, Windows98 does not show any icons or the toolbar. Nothing appears on the desktop except the background picture. Does anyone know what file(s) were corrupted? I'm guessing a .DLL in the Windows/System directory. Any help appreciated.
